Andrew is a PhD candidate in Comparative Semitics specializing in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Ugaritic. His primary research interests lie in the areas of syntax, word order, information structure, and the verbal system. He is currently working on a dissertation on the so-called “wāw of apodosis” in the Semitic languages. Andrew graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Linguistics.
