Naomi is a PhD student in Hittitology. Her research focuses on Hittite literary motifs; in particular, metaphors and rhetorical organization. She holds an MA from the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and a BA in English Literature, both from the University of Chicago, where she taught academic writing and is a Neubauer Family Distinguished Doctoral Fellow. In 2019, Naomi worked on the Corpus der hethitischen Festrituale project in Mainz, Germany.
