NELC major Grace Clements was awarded NELC’s Undergraduate Prize for Service to the Department. This prize was awarded in recognition of her active participation in the NELC Student-Faculty Committee, and ambassador-like service on behalf of NELC.
NELC major Ashton Hashemipour was awarded the 2020 Justin Palmer Prize for his BA Thesis, "Revolutionary Outbidding: A structural explanation for revolutionary leadership.” This prize is a recognition of the outstanding quality of Ashton’s BA paper and his intellectual promise as a scholar.
