Academic Bio
Samantha Suppes is a Near Eastern Art and Archaeology PhD Candidate studying the Bronze and Iron Age Southern Levant. She received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation research focuses on Phoenician domestic architecture in their western Mediterranean settlements. She has worked at numerous archaeological sites including Ashkelon, Tel Shimron, Tel Keisan, and Megiddo in Israel, as well as at Cerro del Villar in Spain.
