ندعوكم إلى الندوة العربية يوم الجمعة 4 نوفمبر في الساعة الثالثة في غرفة بيك Pick Hall 218 (حيث ستقدَّم المأكولات الخفيفة) أو عبر زوم.
نرحب هذا الأسبوع بفادي أبونعمة وهو طالب دكتوراه في دراسات الأفلام والصورة المتحركة في جامعة كونكورديا في مونتريال. قد عمل فادي في إنتاج الأفلام وشارك في « برنامج فضاء أشغال داخلية » وهو برنامج سنوي لدراسة الفنون، أطلقته الجمعية اللبنانية للفنون التشكيلية « أشكال ألوان » في بيروت. عمل فادي أيضاً أستاذاً لدراسات الأفلام في مدرسة فرندز في رام الله و منتجاً مشاركاً في شركة ايديومز للأفلام. هو عضو في « تحريض للأفلام » وهي مجموعة بحث وإنتاج سينمائي تركز على أرشيف « شرائط أفلام طوكيو » للبحث في شبكات التضامن ما بين فلسطين واليابان في السبعينات.

This week we welcome Fadi Abu Ne'meh, a PhD candidate in Film and Moving Image Studies at Concordia University, Montreal. Fadi has worked in film production, and has participated in Home Workspace, an annual art study program at the Lebanese Association for Plastic Arts, Ashkal Alwan, in Beirut. He was also a Film Studies teacher at the Ramallah Friends School, as well as an Associate Producer at Idioms Film. Fadi is a member of Subversive Film, a research collective investigating the multi-layered network of solidarity between Palestine and Japan in the early 1970s through the “Tokyo Reels” archive.
Fadi will be giving a presentation titled The Tokyo Reels: Legacies of Solidarity between Palestine and Japan
