Thanks to the continuing generosity of an anonymous donor, the Franklin Lewis Lecture Series (2023-2025) will continue as the Franklin Lewis Memorial Seminar (2026-2030). Each year a cohort of up to four students working on topics related to Middle Eastern literatures will receive financial support and mentoring for their research. They will present their work during the Fall Quarter at a symposium in which they will receive feedback from an invited external scholar, who will also deliver a keynote lecture.
