ستلقي هذا الأسبوع ميونغن سوهن محاضرة بعنوان "سورة الإخلاص في القرن الرابع/العاشر".
ميونغن سوهن طالبة في السنة الثالثة من الدكتوراه في قسم الأدب المقارن بجامعة ستانفورد حيث تركز على نحو اللغة العربية في القرون الوسطى. تدرس سوهن تأثير الأفكار الأفلاطونية الحديثة على النحو العربي وتأثيرها على فلسفة اللغة والسيميائية. حصلت ميونغن على البكالوريوس في دراسات مفترق الطرق العربية بجامعة نيويورك في أبوظبي (2017) وحصلت على الماجستير من قسم لغات وحضارات الشرق الأدنى في جامعة ستانفورد (2020).
ترحب الندوة العربية بجميع الطلاب من شتى المستويات ونتمنى أن نراكم عن قريب إن شاء الله.

Myungin Sohn will be giving a talk titled: Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ in the Fourth/Tenth Century.
Myungin Sohn is a third-year graduate student at Stanford's Department of Comparative Literature researching the medieval Arabic grammatical tradition. Her project focuses on the influence of Neoplatonic ideas in Arabic grammatical theory and its implications on the philosophy of language and semiotics. She completed her B.A. in Arab Crossroads Studies at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) in 2017 and received her M.A. from Yale University's Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations (NELC) in 2020.
